The graffiti represented here was created during the 1990s by young graffiti artists, sanctioned by the City of Los Angeles and supported in their efforts by SPARC (a nonprofit organization for graffiti artists in Venice). We took these photos to preserve the many different waves of graffiti that swept through Venice Pavilion, changing the landscape from one week to the next.
