The Benefit Network has set up a People In Need (PIN) fund dedicated to providing permanent housing for America's homeless. The PIN fund will be administered by a committee of local community members in each major city/county for ‘democratic’ distribution of funds. For example, all funds raised in Los Angeles city/county would be allocated to a Los Angeles PIN Fund for the acquisition of permanent housing for the homeless in Los Angeles, and so on for each city.
